Why Kids Should Be in Sports

Here are the reasons why I put my son in sports in no particular order, and why you should too:

  1. To keep him physically active since gym class is only offered once per week (how unfortunate).
  2. To help him get into good habits.
  3. To help him strengthen his muscles.
  4. To help him become more mentally aware.
  5. To reduce his television watching.
  6. To help stimulate creative skills.
  7. To discipline him.
  8. To help him focus.
  9. To entertain him.
  10. To help him make new friends while maintaining his old friends.

Whatever your reasons are, do let your child play sports because those will benefit him or her in the long run!
