Thanks to technology, many people around the world are able to learn from the comfort of their homes or even workplaces via the Internet. There are many institutions and agencies that have made learning available to all interested individuals and groups to advance their knowledge so allowing them to advance in their careers.

Pointadvantage.com is an example that has allowed many to learn via the Internet. Pointadvantage.com specializes in project management and team training. PMP Training offers students opportunities to learn project management concepts through all types of learning tools and techniques. Students are able to earn hours toward their mandatory hours. NIU Tragedy

It saddens me to write that there has been a tragedy happening at Northern Illinois University (NIU), in DeKalb, IL, on February 14, 2008. There is about five students and the gunman who passed away from this incident.

Violence, especially in an academic environment is not a solution to any of the world's problems. It just worsens it by bringing people fear each other, instead of trust each other. This is not what we need. I get teary-eyed when I think of what the students and professors were going through.

Let us remember those who are victims of violence. May they rest in peace.

Americans--Go VOTE

The world is a mess. At least, I think it is.

It is time to vote people in the US government who are willing to make a change--it has to be a positive one.

Use your right to vote, many countries don't offer that to their citizens.

As the old cliche goes, "If you don't vote--then don't complain." Vote, so you can complain as much as you want (haha).

First Post of 2008

It is interesting to see how quickly 2007 went, and now we are in 2008. Do you remember as a kid how we were still in the 19s? Like 1986 or 1997. Don't let life speed right by you.

Try to live life at its fullest.

Here are some tips to think about that I took from this article called: "10 Keys to Living a Long and a Happy Life":

To live a long and happy life is essential for most, if not all people. Here are my 10 tips in achieving this.

1. Connect with your spiritual or religious side. This helps you to achieve a sense of calmness and harmony.

2. Exercise at least 30 minutes daily. Not only does it help you physically, but also gives you extra energy.

3. Have less materials in your home. As the cliche goes, "Less is more." You will not have to deal with clutter or disorganization in your home or office.

4. Eat healthy and in moderation. When your body has the proper nutrients, it it will not stress itself out, or prone to illnesses and diseases.

To read the rest of the article, go to: http://www.helium.com/tm/193810/happy-essential-people-achieving .

You will become more alert and aware of yourself and your surroundings thus allowing you to make better choices and decisions.
